Achieving more as a collective is an important principle in reforming from within. In order to achieve this goal, you will need to work together to achieve more with others, and this is called synergizing. It is about the collective; advancing your goal and advancing the objective of the other party. When working with others, whether it is family members, friends, or people from the community, there will certainly be problems that occur because you are dealing with a diverse group of people. This is natural.

There are several approaches to dealing with such adversity. One of them is shunning diversity, and viewing diversity as a bad thing. A person who engages in this approach is actually engaging in arrogance, in which they believe that only their background can lead to a positive outcome, and anyone with a different background is incapable of achieving success. Shunning diversity can cause you to disregard people and groups that have great potential.

Another approach is tolerance, which is the opposite of the previous tactic.

Ignorance is a big roadblock in trying to get others to synergize.
Some people can be innocent in their ignorance, but when they become educated it can help to change their mindset. Other times ignorance is a chosen path. People in some ways “decide” to be ignorant because they do not want to leave their comfort zone.

One roadblock is the cliques that people form. The people who form these exclusive circles and only allow certain people to join them, create boundaries that separate communities.

Another very dangerous roadblock is prejudice. Prejudice is usually built on the ignorance that people choose to bring into their lives. Prejudice is not something that we are born with, it is something that is learned.
